High Plains Wine Association

High Plains Winegrowers is a grassroots organization made up of grape growers in the Texas High Plains AVA, which encompasses:

 

Amarillo

Lubbock

Brownfield

Lamesa

Levelland

Plains

Seminole

 

With approximately 5000 acres of vineyards in commercial production at an elevation of 3500 feet, the AVA is responsible for 85% of the fruit grown in the state.
